Augsburg - The interlift 2023 will once again be the most important event in the lift industry. Over 500 companies will present their innovations to guests from all over the world. The vast majority of these experts are involved in the investment decisions of their companies - 86% were last at the interlift 2022. 38 nations are currently represented in Augsburg, the proportion of exhibitors who are not headquartered in Germany is currently 70% - it hardly gets more international than this. 

For a long time now the interlift has been appreciated by decision-makers from all over the world as the most important industry meeting - nowhere else do more entrepreneurs and managers gather. This concentration of top experts is also one of the prerequisites for the exhibitors' success.

The strongest nation after Germany is once again Italy: every fourth foreign exhibitor comes from there. Turkey follows with 20%, Spain with 11% and China with 8%. Incidentally, the interlift is the only trade fair in the world at which the Chinese Association presents itself. India moves up to 5th place - not least thanks to its first major joint presentation. 

The leading associations and organisations in the industry have also always used the interlift as an efficient platform for networking. In addition to the VFA-Interlift e.V. as the sponsor of the fair, the EFESME, the ELA European Lift Association, the European Elevator Association, the VmA and the ANACAM and ANICA, among others, will be present, as well as the CEA China Elevator Association, also from India the International Sourcing Exposition for Elevators and Escalators and Virgo Communications and Exhibitions PVT Ltd. International media such as ELEVATOR WORLD, ELEVATORI, or the German publications Lift Report and Lift Journal are also traditionally represented. 

A glance at the guest tickets released so far makes it clear: the lift experts will come to Augsburg from all parts of the world and there will be very many of them. The trend shows that the number of visitors in 2023 will exceed that of the previous event. The guest ticket contingent alone, which is provided free of charge by the organiser AFAG, is around 25,000. And exhibitors can also request as many additional tickets as they wish for their customers.  

It is not too late to participate in the interlift - the project management can still offer some space in attractive locations. The organiser AFAG can also offer exhibitors without their own stand construction an ideal solution with comfortable complete stands. Even with low budgets, effective trade fair participations are definitely possible in this way. Of course, it is also clear that the later this decision is made, the fewer options there are to choose from among the remaining spaces. 

The VIP area of the nearby WWK Arena has proven to be an excellent venue for the exhibitors' evening. In 2023, the exclusively designed lounge will again provide the perfect setting for the Lift Experts' Night. A free shuttle service will take guests conveniently from the fair to the WWK Arena and back again. 

Proper preparation for the interlift visit begins on the homepage of the interlift 2023 (www.interlift.de). It offers all the available information, starting with the list of exhibitors and the new products at the fair, right through to travel tips and timetables.

One of the highlights of the forum accompanying the trade fair with more than 40 international expert contributions this year is certainly the SME special on the opening day of the trade fair with contributions on the changes in European regulations. This special block of topics is mainly aimed at medium-sized companies in the industry, which should keep an eye on the effects of the current changes in standards, directives and regulations. Among others, Esfandiar Gharibaan from CEN TC10 will give an overview of the new machinery regulation.
The current topics of digitalisation, artificial intelligence and cyber security, which are increasingly occupying the industry, will also be examined from different perspectives.
